On April 20, 2021, representatives from the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation presented Real LIFE with a grant of USD 2,500.00.

Since its formation in 1959, the MDRT Foundation has granted more than USD 30 million to charitable organizations serving people in 72 countries and all 50 U.S. states.

“MDRT’s grant program provides hope and opportunities for countless children, individuals, and families in need around the globe. We prioritize funding projects that address needs for the population. For this grant, we want to help [meet] global needs. That’s why we give this opportunity for MDRT members to share to people in need,” said MDRT Top of the Table Qualifier Shirley Lomoon.

For this grant, Lomoon sponsored Real LIFE with fellow MDRT member Janet Ng who pointed out that the foundation has certain guidelines when choosing nonprofits to support. This is the second time Ng has sponsored Real LIFE for an MDRT Grant. A long-time Real LIFE partner, she has also personally mounted fundraising projects for the benefit of the foundation’s scholars.

Asked why she supports Real LIFE, Ng said, “I’m not losing hope for the Philippines. I believe our youth can [rise] up and become good leaders. However, these leaders should have a very strong foundation when it comes to morality. It’s all in Real LIFE because you’re not only supporting the financial needs of these future leaders, but you are also building a very strong moral foundation in the hearts and character of these kids. I’ve found my heart in Real LIFE. I want to keep supporting the scholars of Real LIFE.”
