S.Y. 2016-2017
Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology

Growing up in a less fortunate family, I experienced doing laundry for our neighbors and babysitting on summer breaks so I could help my mother with our finances. I also wanted to save money for each coming school year.

Life was tough back then. With my father as a carpenter and my mother as a maid, their earnings were not enough to send me to college. I can still remember when my father told me they won’t be able to support my studies anymore.

But with a young brave heart that was full of aspirations and faith, I did not allow my family's situation to hinder me from reaching my dreams of finishing my studies and becoming a college degree holder. I worked hard to have high grades, and I applied for scholarships until I became a Real LIFE scholar.

Through the scholarship program, I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting technology from the De La Salle Lipa and graduated cum laude. With lots of prayers and perseverance, God has blessed me with more than what I asked for.

I am now a senior accountant and an owner of a small rental business. I am able to support my parents and bless other people too.

While writing this testimony, I was just reminded of how far I’ve already gone and how good God has truly been in my life and to my family.

"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6 ESV
